Farewell to Katie Sellergren of Mt. Idy Tattoo.
What a fantastic week it's been, with yet another great guest artist, and person, at Kings Avenue Tattoo. It was Katie's first time in New York and she didn't waste anytime making a great impression.
With a beautiful piece like this to start the trip; it was the beginning, of a week of some very happy clients. This clock was Katie's first piece in New York. What a way to start for both Katie and her client Hayden.

Like the beautiful script Katie is known for.
And how perfect for Katie to tattoo this peice on her first trip to New York, Janus, the Roman god of beginnings.
We thank you for a great week, full of great tattoos and good times. Katie is filled with positive energy and an amazing sense of humor. Along with being an exceptional talent she has left us and her clients with such great memories and we look forward to her return. Especially Dylan our shop guy who wrote her a poem to convey just how much he "dug" her.
He is a regular Elizabeth Barrett Browning (there's a dig in there). We wish Katie all the best in the future and would like to congratulate you on your upcoming full time position at Black Heart Tattoo, an amazing studio with a great bunch of guys and dear personal friends. We wish you the best of luck.
