As always, Gift Certificates are available in both locations and online at Kingsavetattoo.com. Tons of new merchandise is available just in time for the holidays as well. The new “Silent Flight” camouflage pocket T-shirt featuring a back graphic by Mike Rubendall along with new hat designs and several new t-shirts are all available. Mike Rubendall’s Mother Pelican print based off the painting featured in the Times Somerset House London is also now available. In the weeks to come we’ll be opening Mike’s line of fine art giclee canvases that are professionally hand-stretched and wrapped for sale to the public through Kings Avenue. These are made with premium eco-solvent inks with UV protection and arrive ready to hang on the wall. These are also 100% made in the USA.

Dates are set for the New Year featuring the talents of Max Ireland, Rory Pickersgill, Big Meas, Christopher Fernandez, Sarah B. Bolen, Ms. Juilet, Ace Tats and Bryan Kachel. Also, keep an eye out for start dates for Matt Adamson and Will Lollie as they join the KA team in 2017!!!!

Finally, The highly anticipated first publication from NeverSleep Publishing – “Tattooing’s Guide To Symbolism,” is due out early January for purchase.

NeverSleep publishing was founded by Mike Rubendall and fellow artist Matt Beckerich and was built on the idea that tattooing is an ever-evolving art form, and it is up to us as tattooers to nurture it. The goal is to help steer tattooing, as a whole, toward higher cultural value and toward a more educated and meaningful approach to this sacred craft.

NeverSleep is dedicated to producing high quality publications that will help educate artists, enthusiasts, collectors, and anyone seeking a deeper understanding of what tattooing is truly about. They are committed to shedding a positive light onto the art, culture, history and personalities that made tattooing what it is today.

 “Tattooing’s Guide To Symbolism”

Cor Mysterium Vol. 1

COR MYSTERIUM will be a multi-volume series based around tattoo symbolism. Each volume will feature a diverse selection of artwork from the world's best tattooers and will provide details on some of the symbolic meanings found in every image.

Volume One: "Tattooing's Guide to Symbolism," will focus on the traditional and iconic tattoo images that serve as the foundation of our craft.  Featuring 197 original paintings from tattooing's most devoted artists; each artist explains their piece in their own words and gives insight into the symbolism behind the images.

With more volumes to come, we hope to decode some of tattooing's most timeless images and inspire tattooers and collectors alike to compose tattoos that are not only visually appealing, but speak to the soul in a language that is deeper than words.

Thank you all for your continued support and we look forward to an excited 2017!

 Happy Holidays
